AVALANCHE MASTER

Helicopters are not required to reload.

4 kg (9 lb.) pentolite explosive.

Easily reloaded onsite.

Shots can be an air blast or be deployed into the starting zone.

Deployed shots travel 65-750ft from the tower.

Shots travel farther when shooting downhill.

Avalanche Trigger Management System (ATMS) controlled.
BLASTING ON A ROPE
Avalanche Master and Avalanche Guard complement each other to ensure the safe and controlled clearance of dangerous avalanche accumulations. The Avalanche Master also uses the same decomposable explosive charges in 2.4 kg or 4.5 kg variants and operates through the same control program. Unlike the Avalanche Guard, the system suspends the explosive charge from a rope rather than throwing it onto the avalanche slope. As a result, the charge detonates just above the snow surface, preventing it from sliding down steep terrain and allowing the blast to achieve its full effect in the starting zone. This system makes avalanche blasting particularly effective and significantly easier and safer.
SAFETY ON THE SLOPE
The Avalanche Master is installed on a heavy-duty foundation or anchored to the rock in the starting area at a 25º incline. The avalanche blasting mast holds up to 10 explosive charges and can be easily and safely maintained and reloaded on the fold-out platform. Each charge includes a lowering coil, and the operator triggers the blast via the ATMS using computer control while observing the operation from a safe distance. Artificial avalanche blasting has never been so safe, effective, and convenient. Power for the protective box, safety system, and trigger is supplied by an environmentally friendly, low-maintenance integrated solar unit.
